Aromatherapy
Aromatherapy is better known as aromatic science. Essential oils have been used for thousands of years for various applications. Many people are interested in the aromas found in candles, perfumes, and the smells of packaged foods when prepared. Aromatherapy as practiced by massage therapists and other professional health practitioners is a science with the purpose of healing in mind. These are two very different approaches to the use of essential oils. Such oils can have different effects on the body and can impact the muscles, bones, joints, and internal systems: circulatory, respiratory, digestive, nervous, and immune, along with balancing the body energies. That is one reason as I work with clients only true organic therapeutic grade oils are used. Several benefits from their use are listed under Raindrop Technique; they also can help with nausea, indigestion, constipation, muscle cramps, mental clarity, mood balancing, skin healing, air purification, among other things. Terry Friedmann, MD, stated that “the oils truly represent a new frontier of medicine.”
~According to Dr. Andrew Weil, "Aromatherapy is the most exciting of all the complementary health care modalities."
~Dr. Mehmet Oz, cardiac surgeon, stated that "aromatherapy reduces perceptions of pain."

Raindrop Technique
The essential oils used in this technique are based on French medical aromatherapy using therapeutic grade oils and are applied to the feet and along the spine like raindrops, then worked in. The purpose is to stimulate every organ, muscle and bone of the body at a cellular level, boosting the immune system. This brings the body into structural/electrical balance and enables the release of toxins or disease wherever lodged, including in the mind and emotions. The technique can be of benefit for a number of problems such as headaches, sinus problems, stress, depression and anxiety, muscle aches and pain, joint pain, insomnia, fibromyalgia, allergies, scoliosis (not structural), chronic back pain, and more.

Vibrational Raindrop Technique
This is a Raindrop session with a “punch”. It’s an advanced level of the technique and combines the wonderful frequency of essential oils and tuning fork vibrations.
Sound is a form of energy/frequency. Drs. Hans Jenny and Peter Manners in England found in research that diseased organs could be restored to health when the key note they vibrated at was aimed toward them. Since the organ had ceased to emit its key note, aiming that particular frequency/vibration at it caused health to return. Their research was documented in Cymatics by Dr. Jenny.
As with sound, essential oils have frequency and can provide healing qualities proven by science and a multitude of testimonies. Using essential oils and tuning forks together enhances the benefit of both.
The classic Raindrop Technique can be adjusted to specifically address the following:  brain, colon/digestion, heart/circulation, hormone balance/female or male, joints/bones, liver, lung, and longevity.

Emotional Connection Session
As we travel our life journey we encounter many situations, how we handle those determines whether we release them or hold unto them to deal with later on. Sometimes we are too young or immature and aren’t ready to cope with these events or they may be too traumatic at the time. Emotions associated with the situations we haven’t taken care of and released are stored not only in the mind, but also throughout the body at the cellular level causing problems for us physically, mentally, emotionally, and/or spiritually. They can be the cause of continued stress and tension, the basis of some disease, and possible reason for certain behaviors. Aromas, by their very nature affect the amygdala, the emotional brain, and may cause memories to surface whether pleasant or negative allowing us the opportunity to release them and change the cellular memory to one of positive aspects. When negative emotions are released, body chemistry changes, our attitudes and health improve, we are happier, and are able to move on from what was holding us in bondage. During an emotional release session with essential oils, various oils are used to allow you to re-connect to those stored emotions and release them.

Neuro-Auricular Technique
(The Neuro-Auricular Technique (NAT) by David Stewart, PhD (CARE) [edited])
The purpose of the Neuro-Auricular Technique (NAT) is to jump-start and reconnect all of the synapses of the brain and upper spine, particularly in the locus ceruleus and vagal ganglia. The technique uses essential oils applied along the occipital ridge, particularly focusing on the medullar area (center depression at base of skull) and along each vertebra of the cervical spine (the 7 vertebrae between the skull and shoulders that comprise the neck). [This technique can be done anywhere along the spine.]
The locus ceruleus is a mass of more than 1,000 nerves at the base of the brain and is the central switching station of the body. Every nerve impulse controlling our voluntary muscles as well as our organs passes through this master control station. It is the portal through which our vital life energy flows into the body maintaining physical life. A principal purpose of NAT is to make sure this vital nerve junction is fully functioning along with the rest of the brain.
The vagus nerve is principally involved with parasympathetic activity, which is largely involuntary and often emotional. It regulates heartbeat, is involved with the release of tears in crying, controls digestion and peristalsis of the esophagus and intestines, production of many hormones, including insulin, control of sphincter muscles, ovarian and uterine function, prostate function, and sexual responsiveness. It is the parasympathetic system that functions during healing and is mainly involved with protection, conservation, and restoration of body resources and functions.
The purpose of NAT is to fully awaken and restore full capacity to the locus ceruleus and vagal ganglion at the base of the brain and to connect all of the synapses of the brain and upper spinal cord, thus creating an environment that facilitates optimal health, healing, and bodily function.
NAT can also be used for emotional release. The parasympathetic nerves of the body include, not only those originating in the brain such as the vagus nerve, but also the ganglionic centers of the sacrum.
According to Gary Young, originator, NAT has been effective in correcting Parkinson’s disease and practiced at Nova Vita Clinic in Ecuador since 2007. The reason this technique could work for Parkinson’s disease is because Parkinson’s is due to failure of the locus ceruleus to properly process neural messages and of the vagal ganglion to properly transmit its electrical signals. Since NAT is designed to restore normal vagus nerve function as well as that of the locus ceruleus, the symptoms of Parkinson’s could reasonably be expected to be reduced or disappear altogether when these two neural organs regain their healthy normal function.
In addition to possible benefits for Parkinson’s suffers, the nature of NAT also suggests that there may be benefits for any condition or malady due to malfunctions in the nerve centers of the locus ceruleus and vagal ganglion. Many neurological disorders originating from these centers could potentially benefit from NAT. [It seems to clear “brain fog” in some people.]
